About Me where I come from + what I love Raised by grandparents after losing my parents at five, I didn’t realize how deep that wound was until decades later. They gave me comfort and introduced me to the things I still obsess over — music, computers, creativity. I wish my grandfather could hear me play guitar now and see what I can build online. Teenage years were rocky. School fell apart, I dropped out, then grabbed my GED a month later (lol, what a scam). I was young, restless, dishonest with myself, and it led to isolation, drug abuse, and long jail bids — the longest a year and a half. In my early 20s I met the woman who became my partner and the mother of my son. It didn’t start easy: two chronically ill, abusive young adults thrown into a world with liquor stores on every corner. Chaos followed, but eventually we broke free, moved to the mountains, and spent five years fixing our behaviors and mindset.
